Yes. Because that is our most distinguishing characteristic, now that the steel mills have closed and you can see across the rivers.
this is how we know that "My So Called Life" wasn't really set in Pittsburgh, though occasionally the city name gets dropped. It's cause Angela never puts french fries on her sandwiches.
